Hello there!

I'm Barry McGettigan and I've been teaching in the classroom for over 30 years.

I've been working in education my entire career, first in 3rd level (in computer aided learning) and then at second level (science, computing and guidance counselling).

Are you where I was when I first started teaching?

Overwhelmed with the thought of creating lessons plans for every subject? That was me back then as well.

Now? Well now I...wait for it... I actually enjoy creating lessons plans! I love the design process of making science lessons come alive. Especially the tricky lessons that can be hard to grasp. It's great to see students engaged, actively learning...and loving science!

The upside to this is that my classroom tested lessons save you hundreds of hours of prep time so you can relax and teach knowing that you're going to be a rockstar teacher!

I was an actor for a few years. The stereotypical one, poor.
